Applications are due April 30 of each year and awards are made by May 30.
Applications are reviewed by a committee consisting of Jill, Seymour and Joanne Kantor and three members of the community; two long time educators and one business leader.
While need is a consideration, the awards are not need based. The portfolio is reviewed but the level of artistic skill is not a major factor. All aspects of the application are taken into account with special note taken of the essay statement of what this scholarship will mean to the recipient and how it will assist them in achieving their goals.
